Jakobs is not just a café, deli and catering business! We have the pleasure of working with some incredible charities, institutions and organisations, please read below to find our more information.

The King’s Foundation

Jakobs is a very proud caterer of The King’s Foundation, a charity which has such a profound impact in British society. We have catered for various events for the last 25 years. It has been a honour to work with different departments from the Events Team, The School of Traditional Arts, Shoreditch, and The Department of Architecture and Urbanism, providing our services for them.

We are also a partner of the Dumfries House Introduction to Hospitality Programme. We provide a week-long work experience at Jakobs for students who are undoing the Hospitality Course, teaching them how we operate our business and training them to serve customers and provide service in various events. We support the Work Experience aspect of the program alongside

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea

We are so proud to announce our partnership with The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Our local community is such an important part of Jakobs and therefore, we shall be organising monthly supper clubs for our elderly community including bingo afternoons where we shall serve homemade afternoon tea. We are so excited to commence this community program.

At Jakobs, we don’t just make fresh and healthy food, we also want to teach you, our wonderful customers some staple cooking skills, recipes and give you all the opportunity to experiment with different cuisines, traditional dishes and flavours. Therefore, we are opening a cookery school where a group of our experienced chefs, led by Tania our owner, will guide you through different recipes, some of which are Jakobs specials! We shall be hosting classes for everyone of all ages. Our classes will vary from traditional Armenian, Greek, Lebanese, Italian, Spanish, French, Persian, Russian and British cuisine to name a few. Whether you are experienced in the culinary field or an absolute beginner, we have a class for you! We want to offer you the perfect opportunity to learn how to cook, bake and explore different cultures through food. However, our classes will also be a wonderful place to make friends and meet new people. Classes will be available for children, teenagers and adults. Please contact us for details of any upcoming classes, we hope to see some of you there!

Our work with the Armenian Community

As we are an Armenian family restaurant, our work with the Armenian community in London is very important to us. We proudly work with the Armenian Church, donating food for various charity events and for the Armenian centre in Acton. We also work with the CAIA (The Centre for Armenian Information and Advice)
